Diving in Bonaire with Toucan Diving

Plaza Resort Bonaire and Toucan Diving proudly offer our guests the opportunity to experience the infinitely colourful underwater world of Bonaire.

Divers of all skill levels - from absolute beginners to highly advanced, from children to adult - will feel right at home at Toucan Diving: a five-star PADI, SDI and SSI diving centre at the Plaza Resort Bonaire. Boat Dives - Enjoy Bonaire's dive sites from the luxury of our comfortable, custom-built dive boats with two experienced guides to look after you. Our boats are the best on the island. We will never crowd you or rush you. No matter what your physical capability, our swim platforms, ladders and helpful crew will ensure that you will have no problems getting on or off of our boats! You can choose between our 8:30am departure two-tank boat and our 2:00pm departure one-tank boat.

Unlimited Shore Diving - DIVE, DIVE, DIVE!!!! We have air tanks available 24 hours a day at three locations within the resort. Our house reef, "18th Palm" is one of the named attractions of the Bonaire National Marine Park. You don't even have to leave the resort to enjoy it. There are two easy entry points with conveniently located tanks. If you'd like to take advantage of one of the many dive sites accessible from shore, pull your truck over to the dive center and load up some tanks. Our friendly and knowledgeable staff are always happy to tell you about their favorite sites and help you plan your day of diving freedom.

Rental Equipment - If you don't have your own, don't worry - we maintain a full fleet of Cressi and Sherwood rental equipment, including easy-to-use Suunto dive computers.

Nitrox - Interested in getting more bottom time? If you're already Nitrox certified, you can upgrade to unlimited 32% Nitrox for a small surcharge. If not, it's only a half-day course to earn your Nitrox certification.

Guided Night Dives – Experience the wildest nightlife that Bonaire has to offer! Our boats head out for night dives on Monday and Thursday nights. Times vary seasonally according to sunset. Lights are available for rent or purchase at the dive shop.
