While the situation with COVID-19 (coronavirus) continues to evolve, we wanted to ensure that our friends and guests are updated on the situation at our resort. As of today (17 March 2020), there are no confirmed cases of coronavirus on Bonaire. The island government has issued a ban on commercial air travel to the island, effective through 27 March (US-based carriers) and 30 March (EU-based carriers). These dates are subject to change. Outbound flights continue, allowing guests on the island to return home.
We are doing our utmost, while taking all precautions to maintain the health and safety of guests and staff, to ensure that guests presently at the resort continue to enjoy the world-class experience they expect and deserve at Plaza Beach & Dive Resort Bonaire. For guests with upcoming holidays that will be impacted by the temporary flight shut-down, the fastest way to reach us is by email - firstname.lastname@example.org (North American reservations) or email@example.com (European reservations). We will endeavor to accommodate your requests as quickly as possible. We are waiving any fees related to changing the dates of your vacation with us, so that you may reschedule without worry.
We look forward to welcoming you back to our resort soon.
