Van der Valk Plaza Resort Bonaire is in full development. Step by step we are renewing our resort to offer you an even more pleasant stay.

The new main building has already opened and forms the heart of the resort. One of the absolute gems is our restaurant Momento, where you can enjoy a refined live cooking buffet. Daily, fresh fish, sushi, homemade pasta, and other culinary delights are prepared here, while you dine with a panoramic view of the Caribbean Sea and the enchanting Klein Bonaire.

In the main building, there are also two exclusive boutiques. In Trento you can enjoy a high-quality shopping experience, with a carefully curated selection of women's and men's fashion, accessories, interior decoration, and lifestyle products. For the adventurous holidaymaker, there is Sea & Sense, the place for everything related to diving, snorkeling or renting a car or scooter. Our expert staff is here to provide you with personalized advice and tailored service.

For those looking to balance body and mind, everything needed can be found in the modern ARA Gym, equipped with the latest fitness equipment from Matrix. For ultimate relaxation, you can visit our Senti Spa in 2026, where a luxurious head spa, manicure treatments, and a stylish sauna will be available. An oasis of peace and well-being.

Our recently completed Royal Residence apartments elevate comfort and sophistication to a higher level. These elegant accommodations, available in 1- or 2-bedroom options, feature a fully equipped kitchen and are designed for a versatile and carefree holiday experience. For those who only settle for the very best, we offer our majestic penthouses: a complete private floor with three bedrooms, three bathrooms, and a breathtaking view of the island and the sea. An unparalleled combination of privacy, space, and luxury.

The Royal Residence also features a stunning infinity pool and the delightful Beso Bar, where you can enjoy a refreshing drink and snack in peace.

We are currently working on our new Deluxe Room Laguna and Deluxe Room Garden, which will open in December 2025. We are making every effort to minimize any inconvenience, but we cannot guarantee it.

Our Grand Suites and Junior Suites Pool have not been renovated yet. If you choose these room types, please note that they are not yet in line with our new style. They are clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all amenities.
