Terms and Conditions

Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry (UVH)

All agreements are subject to the Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry (UVH). These conditions have been drawn up by Koninklijke Horeca Nederland and apply to hospitality businesses such as hotels, restaurants, cafes, and related enterprises.

General Purchase Terms and Conditions Van der Valk

Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations can be made free of charge up to 60 days before the start of the event.

  • In case of cancellation within 60 days before the start of the event, 50% of the total reservation amount will be charged.

  • No refunds will be given for unused parts of the event.

  • Cancellations and changes must always be submitted in writing.

Payment Terms

The following payment arrangement applies:

  • Upon signing the agreement, you will pay 10% of the reservation amount as a deposit.

  • A second payment of 50% is due no later than 60 days before the start of the event.

  • The remaining amount of 40% is due no later than 30 days before the event.

Changes and Cancellations

Changes and cancellations must be submitted in writing and include the date. Oral changes or cancellations will not be accepted.

The date on which the written notice is received by Van der Valk Plaza Resort Bonaire by email or letter is considered the official date of change or cancellation.

The reservation value is determined based on the most recent written confirmation of the event, the group, or the conference.
