At Van der Valk Plaza Resort Bonaire's Activity Center, there's something happening almost every day. From snorkeling tours and kayak trips to creative workshops, yoga on the beach, and evenings with music. The weekly activity program offers something for everyone. You will find the Activity Center next to our dive school Toucan Diving.

Below you can see the current program for this week. Preferably book in advance, as some activities have a limited number of spots. CULINARY ENJOYMENT

Get to know our culinary concept: Plaza Invites.

Every month, our Michelin chef René Brienen cooks together with a renowned guest chef an exclusive 6-course fine dining dinner. Two chefs, one passion. Each edition is centered around a new, specially composed menu. An evening where nothing is lacking.

On Friday, August 28 and Saturday, August 29, René Brienen welcomes guest chef Casimir Evens from Restaurant Odille in Sint-Oedenrode.

Casimir Evens is known for his creative kitchen, pronounced flavors, and refined presentation. After gaining experience at renowned restaurants in Belgium and the Netherlands, he opened his own restaurant Odille.

Together they provide an exclusive dinner where craftsmanship, creativity, and taste come together in a carefully constructed menu. A culinary evening that you will remember long after the last course has been served.

Where do the activities take place?

The activities take place at various locations on our resort. Behind the activities listed above, you will see the location. The letters match with the letters on our resort map.

Where can I borrow a snorkel set?

This can be done at our dive school Toucan Diving. You will find the rental desk on the water side. You can borrow the snorkel set by showing the STINAPA Nature Fee QR Code.

Do I need the STINAPA Nature Fee for the activities?

Yes, for all water-related activities in the National Marine Park, you must be in possession of the QR code. You can pay your fee via this link.

For which age are the activities of the Activity Center suitable?

The Activity Center is for both children and adults. Children from 12 years old may join tours alone. For young children, it is mandatory for an adult to be present. Would you prefer to use our premium nanny service? That is also possible! For $30 per hour per family, we can organize a private nanny for you. More information can be found at Sea & Sense.

Do I have to book activities in advance or can I join spontaneously?

For most activities within the all-inclusive program, it is not necessary to book. For popular activities and all premium experiences, we recommend booking in advance via Sea & Sense to ensure availability.

What should I bring to water activities?

We recommend swimwear, a towel, sun protection (reef-safe), a bottle of water, and your STINAPA Nature Fee QR code. Equipment such as snorkel sets and kayaks are provided by us.

Do activities always continue in less favorable weather or wind?

Our activities depend on the weather. In unfavorable conditions, we adjust the program or offer an alternative. You will be informed of this in advance.

What is the meeting point for excursions and tours?

The meeting point is at the Activity Center, next to Toucan Diving, unless otherwise stated in your confirmation.
