At the Activity Center of Van der Valk Plaza Resort Bonaire, there's something happening almost every day. From snorkel tours and kayaking trips to creative workshops, beach yoga, and evenings with music. The weekly activity program offers something for everyone. You will find the Activity Center next to our dive school, Toucan Diving.

Discover our culinary concept: Plaza Invites.

Every month, our Michelin-starred chef René Brienen cooks together with a renowned guest chef for an exclusive 6-course fine dining dinner. Two chefs, one passion. Each edition revolves around a new, specially curated menu. A culinary evening where everything is taken care of.

On Friday 23 and Saturday 24 October, René Brienen welcomes guest chef Lars van Galen of Hotel Restaurant ’t Lansink in Hengelo.

Lars van Galen is an SVH Master Chef and chef at Michelin-starred Hotel Restaurant ’t Lansink. With a classical French foundation and a strong focus on seasonal ingredients, his cooking is defined by elegance, precision and contemporary flair.

Together, they create an exclusive dinner where craftsmanship, creativity, and flavor come together in a carefully curated menu. A culinary evening that will stay with you long after the final course.

Where do the activities take place?

The activities take place at various locations on our resort. Behind the activities above, you will see the location. The letters match the letters on our resort map.

Where can I borrow a snorkel set?

This can be done at our diving school Toucan Diving. You will find the rental counter on the water side. You can borrow the snorkel set upon showing the STINAPA Nature Fee QR Code.

Do I need the STINAPA Nature Fee for the activities?

Yes, for all water-related activities in the National Marine Park you must have the QR code. You can pay your fee via this link.

For what age are the activities at the Activity Center?

The Activity Center is for both children and adults. From the age of 12, children can join tours alone. For young children, it is mandatory for an adult to be present. Would you prefer to use our premium nanny service? That is possible! For $30 per hour per family, we can arrange a personal nanny for you. More information can be found at Sea & Sense.

Do I need to reserve activities in advance or can I join spontaneously?

For most activities within the all-inclusive program, reservation is not mandatory. For popular activities and all premium experiences, we recommend making a reservation in advance via Sea & Sense to ensure availability.

What should I bring to water activities?

We recommend swimwear, a towel, sun protection (reef-safe), a water bottle, and your STINAPA Nature Fee QR code. Equipment such as snorkel sets and kayaks are provided by us.

Do activities always proceed in less favorable weather or wind?

Our activities are weather dependent. In unfavorable conditions, we will adjust the program or offer an alternative. You will be informed about this in time.

What is the meeting point for excursions and tours?

The meeting point is at the Activity Center, next to Toucan Diving, unless otherwise stated in your confirmation.
