FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What is the difference with the Klein Bonaire snorkel tour?

The snorkel tour is a guided tour with fixed times, a snorkel guide and dinner on board. This boat trip is a private charter: your own boat, your own pace and a day you plan yourselves.

Is the boat trip suitable for children?

Yes, this is a family-friendly trip. Young children join under the supervision of a parent.

Do I need to be able to swim?

Swimming is recommended. You decide whether to get in the water, so even those who prefer to stay on board have a great day.

What is the Nature Fee?

Going snorkeling, diving or swimming during your stay on Bonaire? Then you are required to pay the Nature Fee. This contribution is USD 40 per person for visitors aged 13 and older and is valid for one calendar year. The Nature Fee gives you access to all waters around Bonaire and Klein Bonaire and to Washington Slagbaai National Park. For children up to and including 12 years old the Nature Fee is free. The fee is not included in the charter price.

What if the weather is bad?

In rough seas the trip is rescheduled. In light rain the trip goes ahead as planned.

Is the boat accessible with a disability?

Limited. Getting on and off the boat requires some mobility. If in doubt, contact us in advance and we will help find the most suitable boat.
