GLASS BOTTOM BOAT TOUR BONAIRE

DISCOVER

The reef of Bonaire is among the most beautiful in the Caribbean, but not everyone wants or is able to get in the water. That is what the glass bottom boat of Eye Sea Bonaire is for, the only one on the island. You sail to Klein Bonaire and look through the glass bottom straight onto the coral and the fish below, while the captain explains what you are seeing. Dry, comfortable and without having to swim a single stroke. That makes this the best reef experience for young children, seniors and anyone who prefers to stay on board.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Do I need to be able to swim?

No. You stay on board the entire tour. That is exactly why this is the best way to see the reef for non-swimmers.

Is the tour suitable for young children?

Yes, excellent. There is no minimum age and children often press their noses to the glass watching the fish beneath the boat.

Is the boat accessible with a wheelchair or limited mobility?

This is the most accessible water activity on the island. Report your situation in advance and the crew will assist with boarding.

How long does the tour take?

About 1 to 1.5 hours. There are several departures per day.

What do I see through the glass bottom?

Coral formations, tropical fish such as parrotfish and sergeant majors, and regularly a sea turtle. The captain points out what passes by.

What if the weather is bad?

In rough weather the tour is rescheduled to another moment.
