KAYAKING IN THE MANGROVES OF LAC BAY

DISCOVER

On the east side of Bonaire lies Lac Bay, a shallow bay lined with mangrove forest. Between the roots young fish grow up before moving to the reef, and that is exactly where you paddle on this guided kayak tour. You paddle a clear-bottom kayak, so you see what swims beneath you along the way, and make a short snorkel stop among the mangrove roots. Calm water and a guide who explains what you see: you can join even without any kayaking experience.

WHAT TO EXPECT

THE TOUR STEP BY STEP
