STAND-UP PADDLE ON BONAIRE
STAND-UP PADDLE ON BONAIRE
DISCOVER
The water off the coast of Plaza is calm, shallow and so clear that you can see the bottom from your board. Exactly right for stand-up paddling. You rent your board directly at the Activity Center on the resort's beach: walk up, grab a board and get on the water. No travel time, no planning, and the beach as your point of departure and arrival.
WHAT TO EXPECT
WHAT TO EXPECT
HOW IT WORKS
From beach bed to board in a few minutes. It is that simple.
Renting a board at the Activity Center
THE START
You report to the Activity Center on Plaza Beach. The team hands you a board, paddle and life vest, plus a short briefing if it is your first time on a SUP.
Paddling off the coast
THE ACTIVITY
You paddle at your own pace on the calm water in front of the resort. Stay along the beach or find the quiet a little further out on the lagoon. Below you, fish regularly dart by.
Return the board and straight onto the beach
THE RETURN
After your rental period you return everything at the Activity Center and a minute later you are back on your beach bed. A water activity cannot be organized any faster.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Do I need experience to SUP?
No. The water in front of the resort is calm and shallow, and the Activity Center team explains the basics. Basic balance and being able to swim is enough.
Do I need to book?
No, you rent your board directly at the Activity Center desk.
Is SUP suitable for children?
Yes, on the calm water in front of the resort and under the supervision of a parent.
What is a Zayak?
A floating snorkel board with a viewing window: you lie on it and look through the window at the reef, without having to swim. For rent at $15 per 30 minutes or $25 per 60 minutes.
Is SUP suitable with back problems?
Limited. With serious mobility or back problems we recommend a calmer alternative, such as the glass bottom boat tour.
